We celebrate all films and filmmakers; including those that tackle unusual or controversial themes, are experimental in nature, may be deemed offensive or are best suited to a mature and open-minded audience, and which may also be overlooked by more mainstream festivals.
We are non-elitist and non-political, and with a remit to celebrate films from all over the world, our festival and annual awards competition will include a showcase to champion films and filmmakers whose voices we may not otherwise get to hear.
We promote healthy debate. We do not condone hate speech or incitement.
