Gay, Cuban filmmaker raised in the hood known as Miami. And, boy do I have stories to tell.
I’m an EMMY® and Promax/BDA award winning director/filmmaker with numerous short films, music videos, commercials, promos, corporate films, documentary shorts, travel/magazine-style videos and social media/branding videos among my credits. I have been writing, shooting, directing and editing creative video content for over 18 years.
In the early 2000’s I cut my teeth on producing promos and movie trailers at Manhattan Transfer/BVI for Lifetime, Bravo, MTV Latino, and several Pay Per View channels. I then did a stint as Senior Promotions Producer at NBC/Universal where I collected 15 EMMY® nominations, 7 EMMY® wins, and 6 Gold and Silver PROMAX/BDA awards for my promo and branding work.
In 2011 I started 66 Films where we've produced a variety of commercial content for: Norwegian Cruise Lines, Maaco, The Miami Dolphins, The United Way, Bank United, Passport Magazine, Visit Florida, Menieke and Noelle et Filles to name a few.
For the past several years I’ve been writing, directing, shooting, & editing award winning short films and music videos including the short film Fire, which premiered at several film festivals nationally. In 2017 my music video "You'll Never Know" was an “Official Selection” at twenty one film festival and garnered five Merit of Excellence awards and won “Best Music Video” at the Orlando Film Festival and Oregon Film Festival.
I am currently in post-production with my short film Malabar, which will be submitted to major Film Festival in the Spring of 2018.
