[ITA] Francesco Mastroleo è un regista pugliese nato nel 1999. Studia Cinema e Nuove Tecnologie all’Università IULM di Milano. Nel frattempo realizza il suo primo cortometraggio Le Cento Pietre prodotto da Scirocco Films in collaborazione con il collettivo cinematografico Panoramic Studio di cui è co-fondatore. Nel 2022 realizza Paramore nelle periferie milanesi, prodotto da Veleno Production e presentato in anteprima italiana al Lovers Film Festival di Torino e in anteprima mondiale all’Odense Film Festival, unico festival danese che qualifica agli Academy Awards e agli European Film Awards. Oltre ad essere selezionato in numerosi festival nazionali e internazionali, Paramore è vincitore del Premio per il Miglior Cortometraggio assegnato dal Centro Nazionale del Corto durante la 24ª edizione del Festival del Cinema Europeo.

[ENG] Francesco Mastroleo was born in 1999 and is an Apulian director. He studied Cinema and New Technologies at IULM University in Milan. Meanwhile, he produced his first short film, Le Cento Pietre produced by Scirocco Films, in collaboration with the cinematic collective Panoramic Studio, of which he is the co-founder. In 2022, he directed Paramore, produced by Veleno Production. The film premiered in Italy at the Lovers Film Festival in Turin and had its world premiere at the Odense Film Festival, the only Danish festival qualifying for the Academy Awards and the European Film Awards. In addition to being selected in numerous national and international festivals, Paramore won the Best Short Film Award at the 24th edition of the European Film Festival in Lecce.
