Foxboro Short Film Festival is a brainchild of Three-Time Emmy nominee, Jaden Onwuakor when he was 13 years old in 2024.
Jaden is a co-host of NESN Clubhouse, appearing in many commercials, movies, and TV, including Don’t Look Up, with Oscar Winning Sir. Mark Rylance, written and directed by Oscar Winner Adam McKay. Jaden has worked with A-list stars, including Hally Bailey, Liam Nesson, and Zendaya for her 2024 movie Challengers as her brother.
He has modeled for big brands including Hasbro, Converse, Canon, and many more since the age of three.
He was suggested to direct/write his own movie for the Boston 48-hour film project by his mother Juri Love who had participated in the competition for 5 years, then instead of creating one, he decided to create an opportunity for other filmmakers to showcase their talent.
Jaden dreams of attending the United States Coast Guard Academy or US Air Force Academy in the future and prior to his schooling, he wants to make this Film Festival an annual event in Foxboro, MA, and wants to inherit his legacy as a founder of the Foxboro Short Film Festival for the next generations and young leaders to come.
