FIONA LEONARD, (OAM) is an author, playwright and filmmaker. Fiona has been involved with theatre both onstage and backstage for over forty years. She has been writing for theatre since 2014 and for film since 2020.

She has lived in seven countries on four continents. In 2015, she moved to Düsseldorf, Germany and in 2018 formed Blue Goat Theatre as a home for original and innovative English theatre. Since then, her plays have been performed in five countries and in two languages.

In 2021 she wrote and directed the award-winning film, Beyond the Trees. Shot in Germany, the film brought together a team of artists from three countries.
