Filmovia International Film Festival

Filmovia International Film Festival Rules and Regulations:

1. Films submitted to the Filmovia International Film Festival must be in English or have English subtitles.

2. Filmmakers of all nationalities are welcome to submit their work.

3. Submissions will be accepted between the Opening Date and Closing Date.

4. Payment should be made through FilmFreeway, and no refunds will be issued.

5. Fee waivers are not available.

6. The fees depend on the category as well as the FilmFreeway memberships.

7. Filmovia International Film Festival considers films regardless of their premiere status. Even if your film has already premiered at another festival, whether it screened at a physical venue or online, it’s still eligible for consideration.

8. Films must be submitted digitally through our official FilmFreeway portal, preferably in the Digital MP4 format with a minimum resolution of 480p to ensure optimal audio and visual quality. Scripts can be submitted in either PDF or docx format. We also accept YouTube or Vimeo links to your films, as we prioritize creating a secure and controlled environment for showcasing your work.

9. Filmmakers must have obtained all clearances for exhibition and must certify that the work is original and no disputes regarding ownership exist with the film.

10. Filmmakers must confirm they have obtained all necessary rights for their films. By entering their projects, participants provide the festival with the authorization to utilize their projects, names, and images for promotional purposes.

11. A panel of judges will be appointed to assess all submissions and determine the winners. The judges’ decisions will be final and binding.

12. Filmovia International Film Festival has the authority to modify or reschedule the dates and categories.
