FilmESTIVAL Opens his gates for the first time! This year it will be hosted the first edition of FilmESTIVAL.

FilmESTIVAL is an online contest of Short Films, made by community for young filmmakers.

Our objective is to promote and search new young talents in the industry of cinematography. We, as everyone, like to see some good lookin' movies. So, we decided to create this contest to see what the next generation prepare for us, and to promote their work to others.

Everyone with age between 13-18 is invited to submit their work and impress us, the judges and the spectators.

Everything will be held online, so you can participate if you're from everywhere around the globe.

The idea of first edition is to impress everyone with your work, so we don't have a specific theme, just be creative, respect the categories specified under and make something or share something fabulous!

Categories for Feature/Student Short Films:

- Romance;
- Drama;
- Mystery;
- Horror;

Every Short Film needs to be narrative, to tell a story, and to have minimum 1 minute and maximum 20 minutes with credit card.

Your movie will be uploaded on our YouTube channel (@filmestival) and some parts will be uploaded on the others social media accounts of us (more under) to promote the contest and your movie.

Every video needs to be unique (not posted anywhere).

Rules & Terms

In order, to submit your work, you need to respect the next rules:

1. You need to be the owner of the film that you sent.
2. The Short Film needs to NOT be uploaded anywhere.
3. You need to accept the fact that we will post your movie on our channel and we will share moments from your work.
4. The creators of the Short Film (director, screenwriter, etc. "all the staff") needs to be above 13 years of age and under 18. (You can have actors with age above 18)
5. Your film needs to have 1 minute minimum and 20 minutes maximum, including credit card.
6. Your movie can be in any language, but you'll need to put English Subtitles.
7. The music in the film needs to be Non-Copyright.
8. You need to respect the category.
9. Any movie that contains any form of violence will not be accepted.
10. You can participate from everywhere around the world.
11. We reserve the right to use images/footages from your movies for any post on our social media.
12. The movie needs to have a maximum 2 years of birth. (January 2021 - May 2023)
13. Every content that you'll send needs to have the best quality. (only movies with 720p and above are accepted)
14. Your movie can contain any other moments that can be included at other categories than the one we request, but the main story needs to be included into the one we request.
15. The movie needs to be sent only via FilmFreeway or by our Gmail (filmestivalofficial@gmail.com) with Google drive link.

THE ADVERTISMENTS WILL BE OFF, SO NO ONE WILL MAKE PROFIT AFTER YOUR SHORT FILM!!
