FilmGate Interactive is an international festival and creative platform where art, storytelling, technology, and human experience collide.

We bring together artists, technologists, entrepreneurs, cultural and educational institutions, funders, government agencies and audiences from around the world to explore how stories are evolving—across film, immersive media, AI, sound, and interactive art. Here, storytelling is no longer something you just watch. It’s something you step into.
Our programming spans immersive exhibitions, screenings, live performances, creative labs, talks, and large-scale public experiences—designed to expand how stories are created, shared, and felt. We champion bold, artist-driven work that challenges traditional formats and opens new pathways for expression.

2027 Theme: TBA

RESONANCE explores how stories, technologies, and human experience vibrate together—emotionally, physically, and culturally. We spotlight works that linger in the body and mind: immersive cinema, generative media, spatial sound, and interactive narratives that respond to presence, emotion, and environment. The theme centers storytelling that moves beyond spectacle to create meaning, empathy, and shared understanding in an increasingly mediated world.

What a great gathering! FilmGate Interactive is much more than a festival to experience immersive media, it's a gathering of industry, educators, artists, and audiences to discuss the present and future of the field. Wonderful volunteers/staff and many great events. I was very glad to have attended.
