Legally registered since 2015 as a Advertising Agency and FILM Production COMPANY in the Office of Company Registrar under the Nepal Government, Ministry of Industry, “Nepal Film Development Society” we say “NFDS”, works for the overall development of Nepali Film Market so that it ensures its existence in GLOBAL Platform.
NFDS aims to deliver film work and stories in different issues through visual Technologies and Media Services that also includes Documentaries, Drama and other varieties of story-telling Forum. It also runs and supports impactful social mobilization and awareness activities including research, advocacy and campaigns that have potential to strengthen the whole industry. Our projects may have different work approach, but all has one core value i.e. “the development of movie industry inside Nepal that also blends with different cultural diversity within.”
NFDS mostly executes its activities in collaboration with other national or international organization which has been working on similar aspects of the industry. It also believes in promoting the fundamental aspects of moviemaking and visual showcase.
