O Festival de Cinema de São Caetano leva o cinema para onde ele raramente chega. Realizado no Parque Ambiental Municipal, o evento transforma o espaço em uma grande sala a céu aberto, proporcionando ao público a experiência única de assistir a filmes de diferentes gêneros e países em um ambiente acolhedor e gratuito.

Mais do que um festival, é um ato de democratização cultural. Muitas das pessoas que participam das sessões vivem em regiões onde o acesso a produções cinematográficas é limitado ou inexistente. Ao trazer obras nacionais e internacionais diretamente para a comunidade, o festival rompe barreiras, aproxima realidades e desperta novos olhares.

Durante três dias, a cidade recebe mostras competitivas e não competitivas, debates e atividades que incentivam a troca entre realizadores e espectadores. A curadoria valoriza a diversidade, a criatividade e a qualidade artística, reunindo desde talentos emergentes até produções premiadas em outros festivais.

Rules & Terms

1-Eligibility: Filmmakers of any nationality are welcome to submit their films.

2-Submission: All entries must be submitted exclusively via FilmFreeway.

3-Fees: Submission fees are non-refundable.

4-Subtitles: Films spoken in a language other than Portuguese must include English subtitles. Films in Portuguese do not require subtitles.

5-Production Period: We accept works produced from January 1, 2019 onwards.

6-Notification: All filmmakers will be notified by email regarding the status of their submission.

7-Awards: All winners, finalists, and official selections will receive laurels and digital certificates.

8-Length:

Short Films: up to 35 minutes (including credits)

Feature Films: 50 minutes or longer

Student Category: Proof of student status through a valid ID is required.

9-Screening: All selected films will be screened at the in-person event, and may also be shown online with the filmmaker’s prior authorization.

10-Prohibited Content: Works containing pornography, incitement to violence, political propaganda, or discriminatory content will not be accepted.

11Premieres: No premiere status is required — we accept films previously screened at other festivals.

12-Copyright: The filmmaker is responsible for securing all necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted images, music, and any other protected content. The festival is not responsible for unauthorized use of protected material.

13-Promotional Use: The festival may use excerpts, posters, trailers, and stills for promotional purposes only, without any commercial intent.

14-Projection: The organizers will make every effort to present each film in the best possible manner.

15-Acceptance of Terms: By submitting your film, you declare that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms listed above.

6-Notificação: todos os cineastas serão avisados por e-mail sobre o status da inscrição.

7-Premiação: todos os vencedores, finalistas e selecionados oficiais receberão louros e certificados digitais.

8-Duração:

Curtas-metragens: até 35 minutos (incluindo créditos)

Longas-metragens: a partir de 50 minutos

9-Categoria Estudantil: é necessário comprovar vínculo estudantil através de documento válido.

10-Exibição: todos os filmes selecionados serão exibidos no evento presencial, podendo haver também exibição online, sempre com autorização prévia do realizador.

11-Conteúdo Proibido: obras que contenham pornografia, incitação à violência, propaganda política ou conteúdo discriminatório não serão aceitas.

12-Premieres: não há exigência de estreia — aceitamos filmes já exibidos em outros festivais.

13-Direitos Autorais: o realizador é responsável por garantir todas as autorizações de uso de imagens, músicas e demais conteúdos protegidos por direitos autorais. O festival não se responsabiliza por uso indevido de material protegido.

14-Uso Promocional: o festival poderá utilizar trechos, pôsteres, trailers e fotos para fins de divulgação do evento, sem fins lucrativos.

15-Projeção: os organizadores farão o possível para garantir a melhor exibição de cada filme.

16-Aceite dos Termos: ao enviar sua obra, o participante declara ter lido e aceitado todos os termos acima.
