The festival is a social tool viewable and controlled. It is an annual event, managed in a friendly network in cities across the continent, which displays unpublished, experimental or out of the system, linking non-conventional spaces, creating a common grid and a shared mission, fruit of a collective intelligence and the freedom of speech.

The festival is a social tool for visibility and coordination. It is an annual event, produced in a network, in several cities of the continent, which allows to display unpublished audiovisual productions, experimental or outside the industrial system and, in coordination, to contact non-traditional exhibition spaces generating a common grid and a fruit object / text of the collective Intelligence put into operation and manifestation.

This year the festival is not absent, we believe that it is more than ever necessary to maintain the premises for which the festival was created, understanding us as a counter-information tool, during these 16 years the dynamics of the festival has traveled unusual sites for what is understood as the official circuit of film festivals in conventional rooms for projections but in this way we have created walls, floors, cultural centers, neighborhoods, squares, streets, settlements, meeting spaces to see what is happening underneath the surface.

This XVIII edition has 2 OBJECTIVES

It is 17 years to accompany the under scene, this space that changes year after year, which takes new form when it is possible to see what is being filmed accompanying the new languages ​​of this time. This experimental scene began to leave experiences that we were channeling in the conurbano, in the occupation and the promotion, in if in sharing, that nourished something that today is a few steps and that is one of the great objectives that has this edition 2022.

we are already away from the commercial circuits or day-to-day broadcasting and we are looking for the construction of the cinema school in the Covi neighborhood of Solano, where we hold the film festival and believe that the18 will be a great kick for this experience that we support and we have been part since its inception.

ITINERANT

The productions chosen for the 18th, will be part of the retrospective that we will be projecting in a route that will unite different points of Argentina.

The film festival will become itinerant.

Here we see cinema, we talk about cinema, we make cinema. We experiment with the form and structure of the festival, always. We want to rotate the transparency of the impeccable narratives. We are self-management, we have great reasons to criticize from a clear political position our sociocultural context of audiovisual production. We seek to see that which is hidden beyond the superficial, without red carpets.

Herramienta y ecología audiovisual para el goce, el disfrute, la contrainformación, la conexión afectiva, la desintoxicación televisiva, la cooperación colectiva, la creación social del arte, la multiplicación del cine libre, y más…

El festival es una herramienta social de visibilización y coordinación. Es un evento anual, producido en red, en varias ciudades del continente, que permite mostrar producciones audiovisuales inéditas, experimentales o fuera del sistema industrial y, coordinadamente, poner en contacto espacios no tradicionales de exhibición generando una grilla común y un objeto/texto fruto de la Inteligencia colectiva puesta en funcionamiento y manifestación.

Este año el festival no está ausente, creemos que es necesario más que nunca mantener las premisas por las cuales fue creado el festival, entendiéndonos como una herramienta de contrainformación, durante estos 16 años la dinámica del festival a transitado sitios inusuales para lo que se entiende como el circuito oficial de festivales de cine en salas convencionales para proyecciones sino que en este camino hemos creado de paredes, pisos, centros culturales, barrios, plazas, calles, asentamientos, espacios de reunión para ver lo que está pasando debajo de lo superficial.

Esta XVIII edición tiene 2 OBJETIVOS

ASENTARNOS

Son 17 años de acompañar la escena under, este espacio que muta año tras año, que toma forma nueva cuando es posible divisar que es lo que se está filmando acompañando los nuevos lenguajes de este tiempo. Esta escena experimental comenzó a dejar experiencias que las fuimos canalizando en el conurbano, en la ocupación y el promoción, en si en compartir, que nutrió algo que hoy se encuentra a pocos pasos y que es uno de los grandes objetivos que tiene esta edición 2022.

Ya estamos alejados de los circuitos comerciales o de difusión cotidianos y buscamos la construcción de la escuelita de cine en el barrio COVI de Solano, asentamiento en el que realizamos el festival de cine y creemos que el 18 será un gran puntapié para esta experiencia que apoyamos y formamos parte desde sus inicios de gestación.

ITINERANTE

Las producciones elegidas para el 18, formarán parte de la retrospectiva que estaremos proyectando en un recorrido que unirá distintos puntos de la Argentina.

El Festival de cine se convertirá en Itinerante.

Acá vemos cine, hablamos de cine, hacemos cine. Experimentamos con la forma y con la estructura del festival, siempre. Queremos rota la transparencia de las narraciones impecables. Somos autogestión, tenemos grandes motivos para criticar desde un claro posicionamiento político nuestro contexto sociocultural de producción audiovisual. Buscamos ver eso que se oculta más allá de lo superficial, sin alfombras rojas.
