Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Fernan (Fern) Lauro Gregorio strives to grow as a multidisciplinary artist in the field of filmmaking. In childhood, Fern started acting and writing in school, quickly progressing into directing his shorts online. Looking to further his interest in cinema, he received a film degree along with a minor in mass communications from the University of Central Florida in 2020. Additionally, he was involved with several minority organizations like the Latin American Student Association and Dreamers at UCF where Fern put to practice the power of identity and communication that film possesses as he worked at exploring marginalized perspectives in cinema and his community through unconventional pieces of art and commentary. With an emphasis on experimental cinema and genre-bending stories, Fern has directed and worked on several film, TV, and media projects. Mental health, community activism, nature, and comedy are just a few of the subjects that marked his work.
Currently, as a film freelancer, Fernan works as an actor, director, editor, lighting department, and producer, further rounding out his filmmaking career as he develops his voice and searches for meaningful stories to craft. At the end of the day, Fern will work on movies simply for the love of the art.
