'As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster' says Henry Hill at the beginning of Martin Scorsese's masterpiece Goodfellas, I could say the same about being a filmmaker. I've made my first short film at the age of 17 in the amateurish way possible, with a couple of friends and literally no budget ,and it won an award at a local film festival. Since then, I've written, directed, co-produced and edited other 4 short films, that went through lots of festivals (the second one also won an award), always trying to get a little bit more professional.
For Incisivo, the last one, I've been saving money for almost a year to make it the way I wanted to, and is the first one that I see as a 100% serious short film, besides it's low budget. I've also written 2 movie scripts, worked in several videoclips and commercials as cameraman, director and editor.
I love films that are outstanding in every possible way, the ones that push the envelope and talk about uncomfortable realities and human nature. I strongly believe that films can change the way we see the world and ourselves, and that's the kind of films that I try to make.
