Pecan Pickling Film Festival
Faith on Film is the faith-centered program of the Pecan Pickling Film Festival, presented by Equity Films. This category highlights powerful storytelling rooted in faith, testimony, perseverance, family, redemption, and spiritual reflection.
This is a U.S.-focused program and is not positioned as an international category.
We welcome films that explore how belief shapes identity, leadership, culture, and community. Whether set in churches, rural towns, city neighborhoods, or everyday life, these stories illuminate hope, courage, and lived experience.
Faith on Film was created in recognition of the communities where faith is not separate from culture, it is woven into it. In many rural and underserved regions, the church has long served as a gathering place, a leadership incubator, and an economic anchor. This program honors that tradition while connecting faith-driven filmmakers to broader audiences.
