Concordia Seminary, St. Louis’ Faith and Film Festival is an annual gathering to screen and ponder Christian themes in contemporary cinema. Geared toward people interested in film and theology, the festival serves as an opportunity for participants to explore Christian themes in movies and develop eyes to see film in new ways. During the annual event, participants spend three days viewing films; hearing from theologians, pastors and film critics; and engaging in challenging discussions about the ways in which the themes of redemption, reconciliation, mercy and grace are embedded in film. New to the Faith and Film Festival in 2022 is a short film competition based on the theme of HOPE.
Four films will be selected as finalists and will be shown during the festival.
