An international screening series hosted by the production company Cinesthesia Factory. FactoryFest celebrates independent, art house, and risk-taking filmmaking coming directly from their community and filmmaking communities across the world. Cinesthesia Factory is committed to producing and developing projects across the spectrum of the independent art house and risk-taking genre films. Live screenings, writers workshops and industry seminars presenting quarterly in Hollywood, CA.

2026 Screening Events are scheduled for Spring and Fall, with a December Holiday Party to finish out the year. Submission is ongoing -- if your film is accepted to the festival you will be informed of your screening date and time. Due to the nature of the screenings throughout the year films may be curated and scheduled seasonally based on the thematic programming of each event.

FactoryFest is currently accepting 2026 submissions for the Fall Screening Event, held October 17-18 in Hollywood, CA.

We accept films across all genres -- narrative, documentary, music video, essay and experimental films are all welcome -- we love drama, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, action, horror, you name it. For submitted scripts we are looking for films to develop.

PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT IN ONE CATEGORY -- if you think your film is cross-genre, just tell us in your notes.

    This was a great event. The location and venue were very good, as was the event organization and schedule. I was really impressed with the quality of the films presented. The festival highlights some of the exceptional talent and work that is out on the independent film landscape. I really hope to see some of these films again, as I found them quite impactful, and deserving of distribution.

    FactoryFest is a friendly and welcoming event in a cool venue and I was proud that The Green Mill: A Real Chicago Joint was part of the "Chicago Block." Met a number of fellow filmmakers and artists and left feeling enriched. You can't beat that!

    Great location and good presentation quality. Not much turnout for my shorts block, it was mostly the other filmmakers in attendance. A lot of the films in my shorts block were produced by the company that runs the festival, as their main business is a production services company. Quality of the films was good

    I was so impressed with the films on the docket. The level of professionalism and the artistic ability in all the films was obvious and made me all the more proud to be included in their fest. The staff were warm and fun.
