Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the FILMS AGAINST THE MACHINE(S) FESTIVAL!

After a successful first year in 2025, we're back for more anti-establishment, anti-propaganda, by showing bold, enlightening and inspiring films that are not afraid to talk about TRUTH, advocating for REAL FREEDOM OF SPEECH and HEALTH against he multiple levels of machines currently ruling (ruining?) our lives!

So, more than ever, If you produced and/or directed a great film that the other festivals won't dare to show, it's probably a FILM AGAINST THE MACHINE(S). If, like us, you're tired of seeing the same films over and over, tired of the inevitable Hollywood propaganda that is now ruling most festivals and independent movies, please submit your film! FILMS AGAINST THE MACHINE(S) FESTIVAL will be glad to offer you a platform to say what you have to say, but only if you have something to say!

So make sure you'll be able to attend the festival as we really want filmmakers to meet their audience (and other filmmakers), start a conversation about their work and shine a light over the world we live in.

Rules & Terms

What matters most is the quality of the films and what the filmmakers have to say, so we will review any film (short, feature, documentary) regardless of its completion date. For example, if you have a film shot in the 90s that has never found distribution because of its sensitive topic, we'll be happy to review it. Just make sure you have the rights to show your film to an audience.

There will be no discrimination and everyone is welcome to submit, regardless of whatever makes us all different. We're all equal before the God of Cinema!

Since it is important to us that filmmakers come to present their films in person, if you're selected, please do your best to attend.

In exchange, we'll do our best to help you financially to come and present your work, with complimentary hotel rooms and local transportation.

We're still experimenting as it's only our second edition so we reserve the right to change the rules as we get closer to the festival so please keep an eye on our website, or even better, subscribe to www.filmsagainstthemachines.com to get the latest updates in real time.
