Kosova Young Filmmakers Festival KYFF 2nd Edition
The Kosova Young Filmmakers Festival is a unique platform designed for young filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts. It celebrates creativity and innovation through short films across a variety of formats, including: Stop-motion & Animation, Doccumentary and Narrative.
Kosovo lacks a dedicated festival that provides young individuals with a space to explore and express their creative talents in filmmaking, animation, and documentary.
KYFF aims to bridge this gap by offering:
A creative outlet for youth who haven’t yet chosen their career path, as well as film enthusiasts seeking to showcase their work.
A chance for participants to gain foundational knowledge in filmmaking, which may inspire them to pursue professional careers in the field.
Opportunities for film enthusiasts to explore their passion and share their creativity, even without formal training in the industry.
KYFF strives to:
Educate young people about filmmaking from early secondary school to high school.
Provide training in stop-motion animation.
Develop skills in video projects and experimental filmmaking.
Foster a sense of healthy competition, motivating participants to create outstanding film projects.
Increase interest in cinema among youth and encourage greater cinema attendance.
Promote film and animation as both a form of education and a potential career path.
Offer participants a platform to compete, learn, and grow in filmmaking, animation, and video art.
Enable participants to connect with local production companies for potential professional collaborations.
