FESTIVERD – Venezuela

Festival Internacional de Cine y Video Verde de Venezuela abre su convocatoria para la 13° edición a realizarse del 1 al 6 de diciembre de 2026.
Bases y reglamento
* La convocatoria abre el 30 de enero de 2026 y cierra el 31 de agosto de 2026.
* La organización del festival estará bajo la responsabilidad de la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE en alianza con
ONGs, emprendedores, instituciones educativas, entes gubernamentales y los espacios comunitarios.
* La duración de las obras será de 15 minutos máximo (incluyendo los créditos iniciales y finales).
* Podrán presentarse cortometrajes profesionales y estudiantiles del género animación de cualquier latitud, siempre y cuando versen sobre la temática AMBIENTAL.
* El formato aceptado para la exhibición es el soporte digital (archivos mp4, mpg, mov).
* Se aceptan CORTOMETRAJES en español o subtitulados en español. Los subtítulos pueden estar ya
quemados o en formato .srt
* Se aceptan trabajos realizados entre 2024 y 2026 inclusive.
* El derecho de inscripción es gratuito.
* Cada autor(a) puede inscribir hasta un máximo de tres obras.
* Quienes envíen el CORTOMETRAJE vía email (festiverdvenezuela@gmail.com) y a través de la plataforma FILMFREEWAY deberán entregar link de descarga, fotograma en buena resolución, afiche oficial en caso de tenerlo, ficha técnica, sinopsis, tráiler (en caso de tenerlo), biofilmografía, una foto del director(a) y las redes sociales del cortometraje y del director(a).
* La inscripción en el festival implica la aceptación absoluta de este reglamento.
* Mediante la inscripción de las obras se autoriza a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE (ente organizador del
FESTIVERD) para su exhibición en el lapso correspondiente a la celebración del festival en la web
wahustreaming.com y los espacios de exhibición presenciales en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela.
* El director/la directora se responsabiliza de no afectar los derechos de autor de terceras personas y
exime a los organizadores del FESTIVERD Venezuela de cualquier responsabilidad legal.
* Los/las responsables postulantes de los cortometrajes se hacen completo cargo de los derechos de
propiedad intelectual y de autor. Declaran ante los organizadores del FESTIVERD Venezuela que son los
únicos/as responsables ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda concerniente al material presentado,
y que expresamente acuerdan indemnizar a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o
demanda, incluyendo reclamos de derechos de copyright y/o demás derechos, gastos por abogados, y
otros costos generados por dichas circunstancias.

2026 CALL FOR ENTRIES
FESTIVERD – Venezuela

The Venezuelan International Green Film and Video Festival opens its call for entries for its 13th edition, to be held from December 1st to 6th, 2026.

Rules and Regulations
* The call for entries opens on January 30th, 2026 and closes on August 31st, 2026.
* The festival will be organized by the FAMICINE FOUNDATION in partnership with NGOs, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, government entities, and community spaces.
* The maximum duration of the films will be 15 minutes (including opening and closing credits).
* Professional and student short films of the animation genre from any country are welcome, provided they address ENVIRONMENTAL themes.
* The only accepted format for exhibition is digital (mp4, mpg, mov files).
* Short films in Spanish or with Spanish subtitles are accepted. Subtitles can be burned into the audio or in .srt format.
* Works produced between 2024 and 2026 inclusive are accepted.
* Submission is free.
* Each author may submit up to three shortfilms.
* Those submitting their SHORT FILM via email (festiverdvenezuela@gmail.com) and through the FILMFREEWAY platform must include a download link, a high-resolution still image, the official poster (if available), technical specifications, synopsis, trailer (if available), filmography, a photo of the director, and the short film's and director's social media links.
* Registration for the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.
* By registering their work, participants authorize the FAMICINE FOUNDATION (the organizing body of FESTIVERD) to screen their film during the festival period on the website wahustreaming.com and at in-person screening venues in Caracas, Venezuela.
* The director is responsible for ensuring that no third-party copyrights are infringed and releases the organizers of FESTIVERD Venezuela from any legal liability.
* The applicants for the short films assume full responsibility for all intellectual property and copyright rights. They declare to the organizers of FESTIVERD Venezuela that they are solely responsible for any claim or demand concerning the submitted material, and that they expressly agree to indemnify the FAMICINE FOUNDATION against any claim or demand, including claims for copyright and/or other rights, attorney's fees, and other costs incurred as a result.
