Evens Angulo-Duvil’s love for animation came before he knew what the profession itself was called. From as far back as he can remember, he has been drawing characters and pondering what it would be like to bring them to life. The craft and the emotions that animation is able to evoke from people was a career path that Evens wanted to be a part of. Apart from early morning cartoons and colorful video game characters, growing up in a Haitian household with touches of Italian and Ecuadorian customs affected not only the stories that he wanted to tell but shaped the possibilities of the stories that he believed he could tell.
