Eva Saunders (former Merz) is a visual story teller from Germany. Since 2007, she has been working as a freelance artist in photography and film in Munich. With her Bachelor of Arts thesis film, "Moonlit Night", she won Best Student Short at the California International Shorts Festival (Spring) 2012. This short film gave her the opportunity to move overseas and follow her dream to study directing in Hollywood on a scholarship. Between August 2013 and June 2014, she studied Directing at the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory. She recently graduated from a Directing Certificate at UCLA Extension with the short film STRINGS OF HOPE. Eva lives in Los Angeles.
