Esther Duran is a Venezuelan media producer who has lived and worked in New York City for 25 years. Her experience includes writing and directing, editing and sound design, production managing and distribution. Her films have won prizes in the US and internationally, and have been broadcast on local PBS and Community stations through Deep Dish TV. Esther's web documentary series, A CHOCOLATE CONQUEST, it's an ongoing project about cocoa farmers in Venezuela and their struggle to keep their agricultural ways in the midst of an oil production centered economy.
