Erynn Dalton is an award-winning feature film director who founded Infinite Abyss Productions in Miami, Florida in 2010 where she produced and directed live mixed media original horror productions at her theater. After directing dozens of live productions and numerous short films, Dalton made her feature film directorial debut in 2019 with the gothic period horror-drama "The Gravedigger." The film had its world premiere at Popcorn Frights Film Festival, which was met with critical acclaim and resulted in Dalton and the film being featured in the LA Times, NPR and Sun-Sentinel, as well as horror genre publications such as Fangoria, Rue Morgue and Bloody Disgusting. Dalton followed "The Gravedigger" up with the glam-horror drag comedy "Big Easy Queens," which premiered to sold out houses at Popcorn Frights Film Festival in 2023 and won the coveted Audience Award. The film continued its festival run both domestically and internationally, being selected to screen at prestigious LGBTQ+ film festivals like Outshine, Fresno Reel Pride, AGLIFF, Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Queer Fear, as well as mainstream film festivals like Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Venice Independent Film Festival and Toronto Independent Film Festival. Hulu has recently secured the worldwide distribution rights to "Big Easy Queens" and the film will launch on the platform Summer 2025.
Most recently, Dalton finished production on her third feature film, American Cryptids, a folklore-based horror film starring horror icons Anne Bobby (Nightbreed) and Daniel Roebuck (Terrifier 3) as well as Lukas Hassell (The Blacklist). American Cryptids will begin its journey on the film festival circuit in Fall 2025.
