Erin Lee Brown is a Canadian female filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Erin's career in film and theatre began at eight-years old when she started acting in local productions. Since then, she has attended the University of Birmingham UK for film and media, the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design for screenwriting, and worked on film projects as an assistant director, writer, researcher, and production assistant.
Most recently, Erin wrote, directed and produced her original short film “Peripherals.” A film about a woman paranoid that the figure she can only see in peripheral vision is real. "Peripherals" is proudly a majority woman-identifying project as the director, screenwriter, producers, director of photography and cast were all women.
