I’m an independent filmmaker, writer, and director based in Michigan. My work blends gritty realism with stylized genre storytelling, often drawing inspiration from classic exploitation cinema, 1970s thrillers, and modern indie horror. With a background in visual design and promotional media, I try to bring a distinct cinematic aesthetic to my projects, combining atmospheric imagery with character-driven narratives.
Our film, Laundromat, explores the effects of isolation, guilt and grief. The film continues my interest in creating grounded stories with bold visual identity and retro-inspired tone.
I’m currently developing our follow up film project, Mia, through my production banner, Eileen’s Basement Productions, focusing on horror and suspense features made outside the traditional studio system.
