Erica is an Emmy Award-winning writer, director, and editor based in Fort Worth, Texas. Named after an alias, she was born into a world full of stories and has been writing and dreaming for as long as she can remember. A business school dropout and self-taught filmmaker, her work is known for being visually striking and emotionally compelling. An acclaimed director across music videos, narrative film, and commercials, she has won numerous awards and amassed over a billion views across digital and broadcast platforms. Her latest short film, Passing Through, had a successful festival run, winning Best Narrative Short at the Lone Star Film Festival and the Grand Prize Marilyn Mason Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, before premiering on Short of the Week. She is currently developing her first feature film, set to shoot later this year. When she's not making things, she can be found exploring the world with her three young kiddos.
