Eric Benson served for twelve years in the United States Navy as a Photojournalist and Mass Communications Specialist operating in over 37 countries. his primary service was in Asia and the Middle East while working with various news agencies to include CNN, MSNBC, The Associated Press, and Reuters.

Eric graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in May 2014 majoring in Electronic Media Leadership, a second degree in Electronic Media Production and Performance with a Minor in Journalism. He was awarded the Purple and Old Gold Award for his conspicuous achievements in the Major of Electronic Media. Eric also has a degree in Visual Media from Hawaii Pacific University.

Eric started a small production company called Bus-Stop Productions with a collective of electronic media professionals who have worked on feature and short films, television shows, commercials, documentaries, videos for web publishing, and various small video assignments. Eric also manages his own photography business where he has shot various photos for commercial, portrait, publishing, and fine art.
