Emmi Shockley is an independent filmmaker originally from Ocean City, Maryland. She entered the independent film world during her teenage years when she was cast in Michael Tully's 2014 Sundance premiering feature, Ping Pong Summer. After working on this film, Shockley was inspired to begin writing and directing. She graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production. She continues to work in both New York City and Maryland.
She is a producer on the queer feature film Throuple and the upcoming short film Ahoy!
