Emanuel Vázquez Santana was born on March 27, 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his musical studies at the Leopoldo Marechal National Conservatory. Then he graduated as a Graphic Designer at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Buenos Aires.

“Keep on Looking”, his first short film, was selected and awarded in a vast array of international film festivals such as 56th Houston International Film Festival, Barcelona Human Rights film festival, Ibero-American film Festival Miami and Hollyshorts in Los Angeles, among others.

In 2022 he was part of the award jury of the International Austral Film Festival in Córdoba, Argentina.

He is currently working on his debut feature "Un amor de Buenos Aires", which was part of the seven projects selected from Latin America to participate in the MAFICI Lab, the debut feature laboratory of the Puerto Madryn International Film Festival in its tenth edition.
