I am a female filmmaker, specialising in telling inspiring stories for long and short form adventure and action sports content.
My career started in factual and documentary television, working on the production of documentary television series, such as BAFTA award winning 24 Hours In A&E and The Apprentice. I moved into sports journalism in 2015 and began working for Sunset + Vine. Here I produced and directed a range of programme content for global events and a monthly extreme sailing documentary for CNN called Mainsail.
In 2017 I set up Wanderlust Action Films and under my leadership we have gained a reputation for capturing extreme and/or travel content for brands and events, from Haute Route endurance cycling, to UTMB Ultra Trail running, through to desert marathons and exploring the Amazon Rainforest.
As a self-shooting Director I am often contracted by other companies as an adventure filmmaking specialist and am currently the onboard filmmaker for a feature documentary about the largest, and fastest, racing superyacht in the world. Both as a freelance Director, and as a company, filming major adventure and extreme sports all over the world has become a way of life.
My ambition is to create cinematic sports feature documentaries. Due to my career journey, I am able to combine my skills in capturing adventure with creating an impactful and emotional documentary narrative that inspires people with the transformative power of sport and the outdoors. I am currently in post-production of my first feature documentary The Art of The possible - a story following an incredible world first Kayak of the length of Britain by a team with life changing injuries.
