Ella Altman is a France-based director, writer, editor, and musician.
Her films explore intimate relationships between women, delving into their realities while creating a new one within the film. Her first film, The Holocaust is Over Bitch (2019), reconnects with her Polish lover through a song. Lover (2023) is a musical fiction about a directress who invites an actress to portray her lover in a film without a script, questioning the boundaries of their romance.

Altman has participated in international group exhibitions, including Panorama 25 and Panorama 26 (The annual exhibition of the artists working at Le Fresnoy - National Studio of Contemporary Arts).
Her films were shown in international film festivals; Madrid LGBT Film Festival, Oslo Fusion Film Festival, Shortwaves Film Festival, DC Independent Film Festival, Tel Aviv LGBT Film Festival, Girona Intl. Film Festival, Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival and The Israeli Lesbian Film Festival.
