Elizaveta Manina is an award-winning filmmaker based in California. Born and raised in Russia, she moved to the United States to pursue her career as a director. She is currently studying Cinema Production at Los Angeles City College and is a Director Member of the Alliance of Women Directors. Her short films, I Don’t Want to Die and The Diary of Nightmares, have screened at festivals including the Glendale International Film Festival and Thespian Cinema Festival. Both films have received multiple awards, including Best Director and Best Actress.
Elizaveta is currently developing her first feature-length psychological thriller, My Mother Is a Serial Killer, while continuing work on her new short film project, Elza, whose screenplay has received critical acclaim. Her storytelling explores psychological tension, emotional vulnerability, and dark human experiences.
Beyond filmmaking, Elizaveta enjoys riding motorcycles, skydiving, reading books, and watching films.
