Elizabeth Barnes is a driven and passionate 20 year old writer and director, who has loved the art of filmmaking ever since she was old enough to hold a camera. There are few things in life that bring Elizabeth more joy than writing a script or being immersed in the organized chaos of a film set. Her goal is to tell stories that direct the audience’s attention back to God, and to give Him the glory throughout production. She aims to create pieces of moving art that audiences can connect with on a deep level. She has worked in the audio/visual ministry at her church since 2016. Elizabeth has written, directed, and edited all of her own films to date, and has received awards for best screenplay, best short film, and audience's choice awards for the Trevecca Film Festival 2025.
