Elijah Richardson is an artist based out of Chicago. In 2018, he graduated with his BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in History from Chapman University where he received the opportunity to choreograph for the stage and film. His comprehensive training includes intensives at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Elijah has been a company member with DanceWorks Chicago since 2018, under the leadership of Julie Nakagawa, performing and teaching nationally and internationally in Germany. He has also performed with The Cambrians, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and Anaheim Ballet. Beyond dancing, Elijah occasionally exercises his skills as a competition adjudicator, choreographer, teacher, and graphic designer. His works has been showcased at Dance Chance (Chicago), Trifecta Dance Film Festival (Chicago), Flatlands Dance Film Festival (Illinois), Iowa International ScreenDance Festival, and as a three-time consecutive Official Selection for the Mobile Dance Film Festival (New York).
