Elif Sözen graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences. She has experiences as programmer, writer and editor in various radio, newspaper, and TV programs. She also took part in the cinema and advertising industry as assistant director for many years and currently working on her own projects in Istanbul.
She shot her first short film “Celebration” in 2018. Celebration has been included in the official highlights of film festivals in more than fifteen countries. She shot her second short film “Bir – One” in 2020. Veha is the director's first full-length film project.
