Ela Yurekli-Gorkay, aged 20, is a Turkish, British, American student-writer, director and producer based in Oxford and London, UK.
She has been selected for 11 international festivals and has won 10 awards, with a recent nomination from the Cannes World Film Festival's 2023 November edition.

ππ,' exploring the ideas surrounding grief, has been nominated in the official selections at Austin Spotlight Film Festival, Serbest International Film Festival, Live Link Film Festival, and the Official Film-Maker's session at Pinewood Studios. Most recently, she won Best Film and Best Cinematography at the Paris Awards Film Festival 2023 and selected as a Nominee at the Cannes World Film Festival.
She has been a part of a number of theatre productions. Recently, she was in the Oxford based Pegasus Young Company production of 'Shift,' directed by Emma Webb, where she took on the role of Cyllene and Procne at the Pegasus Theatre on the 2-3rd of December 2021. Previously she was in the Robin Hood Files and the Princess and the Pauper in Farabi Sahnesi in Ankara, Turkey.
