Ela Yurekli-Gorkay, aged 19, is a Turkish, British, American student-writer, director and producer based in Oxford,UK.

Her interest in film and creative writing has allowed her to combine her curiosity and produce short films and film soundtracks. Most recently, she released the trailer for her upcoming film 'Desiderium,' featuring her composition 'Mika's Theme.' She also enjoys photography as an art form, with a particular focus on cinematic stills, with people in the forefront.

She has been a part of a number of theatre productions. Recently, she was in the Oxford based Pegasus Young Company production of 'Shift,' directed by Emma Webb, where she took on the role of Cyllene and Procne at the Pegasus Theatre on the 2-3rd of December 2021. Previously she was in the Robin Hood Files and the Princess and the Pauper in Farabi Sahnesi in Ankara, Turkey.
