Calling all creators of the world:
"When the time comes to embrace immortality, you will find me there..."
— Akhenaten
Welcome to the 2nd Ekhnaten International Short Film Festival, where the spotlight is on artistic expression and creativity above all else. Taking place from July 27 to 31, 2025, EISFF is a prestigious showcase of talent from around the globe, making it a must-attend event for filmmakers, enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike.
EIFF prides itself on reviewing each submission without bias—whether it's backed by major production companies or indie creators. At EISFF, it's the artistry that matters, not the budget or big names. The festival is open to Short Documentaries, Drama Films, Animation, Experimental Films, and Student Projects, offering a platform for under-the-radar talent to shine.
Invited filmmakers will receive two all-access festival passes, granting them entry to all screenings, seminars, and exclusive events. The festival will culminate with an exciting closing night awards ceremony. Screenings and seminars throughout the day bring filmmakers, attendees, and distributors together, creating opportunities for inspiring collaborations and long-term connections.
EIFF is a place where great films and great opportunities converge. Taking place in the vibrant and artistically rich borough of New Hope, the festival attracts producers, screenwriters, actors, and performance artists from all corners of the globe. Over the years, New Hope has become a haven for talented filmmakers and creators, and EIFF continues this legacy by nurturing and discovering new and overlooked talent.
EIFF is committed to discovering and celebrating filmmakers from all walks of life. We believe that filmmakers are their own best advocates, and EIFF is the perfect platform to be seen and heard.
