"I made my first film in 1987, which was a short fiction piece for children. Since then, I worked for many years at Faroese television, where I produced documentary films, among other projects.
In 2009, I founded my own film company, Hugmynd, and have worked there ever since, producing a wide variety of films—especially documentaries.
The short film 'It’s Not a Pity for Me' is the first ultra-short fiction film I have made in a long time. It certainly won't be my last, as I am already developing my next short film, which will be around 15 minutes long.
I’ve really regained my taste for fiction. I wrote the script and directed it myself, but the film was brought to life by a very professional crew under the expert guidance of my producer."
