Egypt’s International Film Festival was organized with the purpose of accepting both established and emerging filmmakers. EIFF has assembled a selection committee consisting of experienced professionals, critics, and industry experts that were gathered locally in Egypt, as well as Canada, and the United States of America (USA). Our screeners (judges) meticulously assess the film based on a fixed criteria which focuses on the technical aspects and overall impact of the film. We strive to assist filmmakers in marketing their films internationally and thus gaining the proper exposure for a chance to distribute their films.
Our festival will take place annually in a live theatrical venue located in Cairo, Egypt. EIFF will host a post-film Q&A session to offer film makers and experts the chance to share their knowledge and expertise with the audience. EIFF offers multiple networking opportunities to help assist film makers in furthering their career and receiving a distribution offer for their films. EIFF will announce the following awards during the festival:
