EDWARD HOLUB BIOGRAPHY
Since 2004, Edward Holub, 50, has operated, a boutique Louisiana Media Production Company, acting as Director of Photography and Producer. Ed graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, BFA in Film and Photography, 1985, and before arriving to New Orleans, Ed worked many years as an advertising still photographer in New York City, working for major agencies like Grey, Saattchi, and DDB Needham, and publishers like Random House for national clients like Citibank, Jim Beam, RJ Reynolds, Lexmark, etc., producing and shooting major projects.
Ed shifted into motion pictures by self-producing the award-winning nationally distributed narrative feature films "Night Runs Red" and "Unknown Man", and he continues to produce festival favorites like "Under The Gun". Ed has operated virtually every type of digital video camera for a large variety of projects ranging from commercials, events, music, EPK / ENG, and feature films.
Ed creates pro digital video content for a variety of purposes and distribution outlets, from theatrical (features and shorts), to broadcast (documentary, event coverage, PSA, and advertising) to web-based marketing and awareness. Ed has written, directed, produced, shot, edited, uploaded, and finalized for broadcast programs from 15 seconds to 2 hours. Ed enjoys working on projects that have particular social value and is driven to bring important subjects to the public.
