Dundead is Dundee's horror and cult film festival and strand based in Dundee Contemporary Arts in Dundee, on the east coast of Scotland. Dundee Contemporary Arts is a multi-arts venue, with two cinema screens, state of the art equipment and projection staff onsite at all times - projection is important to us!
Dundead is DCA’s horror film festival and strand and has been running since 2011. We welcomed over 1,100 admissions for our 2024 festival, and over 700 admissions for our 6-film halloween season in October 2024.
Our festival dates this year are 08 – 11 May 2025.
