The year 2020 allowed my debut in the film industry. As a mental health professional by trade, I have been privileged to have intimate conversations with people in their deepest, most personal moments for the past 15 years. It has allowed me an insight into the human experience that is absolutely invaluable--both for personal insight and maturity, as well as professional understanding. These tools have developed my knack for storytelling and capturing personal experiences in a poignant and purposeful way. This is reflected in my published writing, and will now display on screen; as I have taken one chapter of my first book to transition to screen in the short film category. This directorial/screenwriting/producing debut has opened up a vessel of creativity I never quite fathomed would be an avenue for my pursuit. Yet here I am!
