Douglas Williams is an award-winning playwright and filmmaker.
Williams’ play SHIP was awarded the M. Elizabeth Osborn New Play Award and was a finalist for the Steinberg Award.
His films have screened at the Atlanta Film Festival, the Philadelphia Film Society, the Arizona International Film Festival, the Orinda Film Festival and more.
His plays have been produced and developed by Azuka Theatre, Orbiter 3, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Great Plains Theatre Conference, PlayPenn, and Theatre Horizon.
He is a co-founder of the critically acclaimed producing playwrights collective Orbiter 3 and was awarded the Silver Grant from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.
