Purdie Distribution is an independently-owned film distribution company known for releasing independent films nationwide. Established in 2009, Purdie Distribution led the distribution of Saints and Soldiers: Airbourne Creed and The Void, The Saratov Approach, Freetown, Meet The Mormons, Once I Was A Beehive and is generally focused on films that elevate the human experience.
Founder Brandon Purdie played a key roll in the establishment of the family and faith-based film market with his previous work on the release of Saints and Soldiers, The Work and The Glory trilogy, and Forever Strong.
The company's Co-Presidents are twin brothers, Adam and Donovan Montierth come from a very strong background in theatrical distribution and marketing. Their romantic comedy, family holiday film, Funny Thing About Love with Jon Heder, Pat Finn, Summer Bellessa, Barry Corbin and Brooke White was released for the holidays in 2021 and the Robert Mac: Mac to School Stand Up Special was released in 2022.
As comedy goes, Brothers Ink released the sketch comedy western movie, Go West with Sean Astin and the original cast of Studio C, JK! Studios, to theatres this summer, July 2023 and to streaming this winter.
They opened up Canada this fall for the first time in the company’s history by opening Miracle in East Texas, Directed and starring Kevin Sorbo, Academy Award winner Louis Gosset Jr and John Ratzenbeger to theatres in 4 provinces nationwide.
