The 2022 Oklahoma City Documentary Film Festival (docOKC) was an amazing experience. Our film, Ring the Bells: The Stolen Life of Tammy Carter, made its premiere at the festival. It was a very special evening that brought together friends, family, and authorities to pay tribute to Tammy Carter who’s life was stolen by crime in 1982.

Festival director Michael Schwarz, was great with communication and he did an amazing job hosting the Q&A session following the film. His love of documentary film making is obvious. Congratulations to Michael for introducing a documentary only film festival to Oklahoma City. The Auditorium at the Douglass is a great venue and the films were presented professionally. In its inaugural year, docOKC was a great experience and I wish Michael Schwarz and his team many more years of success. Don’t hesitate to enter this festival, you’ll have a great time!
