Doc Factory Filmfestival has a strong focus on author driven documentaries with a special focus on the cinematic experience. We are a filmmaker’s festival, meaning the organizers are filmmakers themselves and share the same love and passion for documentaries as our submitters. We guarantee optimal screening facilities for our selection of films.

In 2024 the first edition of the festival will take place.
Besides premiering several 'homegrown' documentaries, produced as part of the Doc Factory educational programme, a selection of new international discoveries as well as highly acclaimed documentaries will be screened to an audience in the Gasthoes Theatre (300+ seats).
Doc Factory Filmfestival has the ambition to grow into one of the key documentary events in the crossborder region of the Netherlands. Take the opportunity to be part of it!
At the Doc Factory Filmfestival we love and appreciate the variety of documentaries in all it’s types and forms. We don’t believe in winners and losers. We are a showcase festival and do not award any prizes.
