Dmaz Brodjonegoro has been focusing on directing since 2009 until now. "Dreamy and artsy" are the characters of the visuals created by Dmaz. He is known as a young and curious film director with a talent for crafting stories in the range of emotional storytelling, witty, stylish and dynamic approach. He has unique perspectives and ability to create remarkable visual aesthetics for any style of communication. He always combines an interesting storyline with a unique editing concept. In some of his works, especially for music videos, short movies or even commercials, Dmaz often presents an unpredictable plot twist in the storyline. Dmaz likes things related to family, social, drama, and friendship. Some of his works also contribute to award events such as AMI Awards and Piala Maya.

Two short films entitled "Mencintai Nisan" and “Jentera" have been screened several times at some festivals and have become nominations, one of which is the Piala Maya for the Best Young Director category. And currently, Dmaz is finishing his first feature film titled “Beautiful Pain” and will be on cinema by the end of this year.
