Dkm Ashraful Islam Ishaq was born on January 28, 1998, in Tulaishimul village of Brahmanbaria district, Bangladesh. His ancestral home is in Comilla district. He is a Cinematographer, writer, and independent filmmaker by profession. His first short film was titled "Bastob" (Reality), followed by several notable short films such as "Mayer kache Chithi (The Letter to Mother)," "Baba (Father)," "Mukti (Freedom)," "Tumihina (Without You)," "Golpo Jibon, (Story of Life)," and "Jibon Konno Cinema Noy (Life Is Not a Film)," among others.
