Djamel is an Algerian-born researcher, art collector, and filmmaker based in Zurich. After an acclaimed academic career spanning France, Germany, Switzerland, and MIT in the United States, he founded Caravanserai Art, a foundation supporting contemporary creativity. In 2018, he received the Algerian Scholar Award. Today, through his production company Regent Films, he writes and directs films that blend poetry, memory, and cross-cultural storytelling.
