Dirk grew up un the east of Germany. After a film bachelor in the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and a postgraduate Master in the University of Media Arts Cologne with a focus on directing he lives and works in Cologne. For his intl. acclaimed indy webseries “Discocalypse”, licensed by Canal+ / Vivendi, he was also awarded for his work as writer, director and producer.
